A
few months ago we needed to free up some ponies in the Duramax diesel engine of our '05 Chevy Silverado.
We accomplished this by installing the
Corsa diesel performance exhaust system, as well as the
Advanced Flow Engineering (AFE) performance intake and air
filter system-both designed to help the truck breathe easier. The results were impressive
to say the least-freeing up a full second of time in the 0-60 range - but the brute-power bug bit us, hard.
The next logical step to feed our horsepower habit was to look into a diesel performance programmer. Keep in mind that
squeezing power out of a turbo-charged diesel isn't all that unusual anymore, particularly when it involves reprogramming
the computer system. There are a number of companies out there that can squeeze hundreds of horsepower out of a diesel engine,

The Juice with Attitude combination provides a vast array of configuration and display functions that enable you to configure,
tune, and tweak your ride just the way you'd like. There are also a series of settings within the Attitude module that allow you
to set maximum points of interest to protect your engine and drivetrain. For you racers out there who throw caution to the wind,
you can disable just about every function. Below is an outline of the display functions that can be set up, as well as the
settings, configurations and performance tests that can be changed also.
