Louis - trucks without loads will have no different ride. The air springs only affect the ride when air is pumped into them. Most people will drive with the air bags deflated when there is no load, so the ride quality will be no different than your stock vehicle.

What about trucks that run without loads? will it help in softening the jarring as the rear goes over potholes? even when it is unladen?
