I have a 88 Sammy that was recently involved in a head on collision (watch those blind corners on forest service roads everybody!) I`ve seen zillions of replacement body kits for Jeeps and full sized rigs, but not for the Samurai. This is a pretty popular vehicle and surely somebody has some kind of cool replacement body for it. The other option I`ve toyed with is doing one of those "turn a car body into a FWD" custom jobs. But that`s waaay more work than I have the time/tools/expierence for. BTW - I actually did find one place that had a nice Flat Fender look alike body for Samurai`s - but they were in Poland and did not respond to my email. So they must either be out of business or we don`t speak the same language.

I've also not found replacement tubs for Samurai's, but have toyed with the idea of trying to fit an old CJ or Willy's replaceent tub on mine. Is your body sound (no rust) from the hood back? If so, would you be interested in selling? Thanks- Dan
