I love my new Benz. I haven`t seen much as far as aftermarket bolt ons yet. I would appreciate if you would keep me in mind with any new products and shoot me a newsletter. Thanks.

I know what your talking about, there actually called Mahindra i almost bought one a couple years ago. It is a brand new cj3b pretty much but there made in India, cause jeep gave them a contract to build them back in like 1942 and they still build them to this day. Sorry but I'm no Mahindra expert by far. Here is a link to there site www.Mahindraworld.com , look under the automotive division and then under the CL range. ------------ Darrell Gray at 8/28/2002 7:51:09 PM

Yep. Last post is correct. The Mahindra is built in India. In the versions that came to Australia, they had about a 2.5 litre 4 cyl diesel motor. I believe the motors were scourced from Peugeot. They looked like an early jeep, even down to the verticle bars in the grill. They came in a soft top version only. I dont think the import run into Australia was very long. They were not a very popular 4wd here, despite a cheap price. I believe there were some reliability problems with the motors. I believe the built quaility and ride quality were both pretty rough. Hope this helps you. Cheers David ------------ at 9/9/2002 9:10:09 PM
